  So challenging and fun! Wish there was a walkthrough or something, I'm stuck in the room with the glass floors and the one angled wall that won't shoot you quite high enough.

  god. this one was awful. it's such a waste of time. srsly. the beginning is torture. games are supposed to be fun. this was more work than it was fun.

  haha beat it!,and i technically cheated i couldnt shoot the angled platforms on the last room so i took the easier yet still hard approach by stepping on the button and putting a portal in front of it and another near the opposite door and jumping trying to shoot the orange portal to the wall behind the closing door,it took my like 5-10 minutes as opposed to the 20-30 minutes i would have spent more on hitting one of the angled platforms,the other route would have been to get the cube from glass-slots rooms and brought it to the glass platform room and put that one on it,but i didnt wanna do the ball platform switchy thing,that wasnt so much hard as it was calculated and learning as you go,the glass however made it hard to see where the ball was at first,then i focused in and lowered my screen resolution,also may i say the rooms with the slots and glass that you have to guide the GLaDOS missle thing to break,was genius!! and the cubes in the "unbreakable glass was just taunting,was there anyway to break that or was it just torcher to us? so overall great portal map,the tatics and gameplay were just fantastic,its almost as if this what GLaDOS trained us for in portal,the GLaDOS stuff was just snippets,that werent even the good ones,i mean for your next one you should try to put in your own robot voice over if thats even possible thats my only suggestion,so 9/10

  i cant get past the damn level where you have to get into the room with all the angled platforms to shoot off of, and they're all above water anyone have any suggestions?

  Last fling in room with pillars is near impossible. Tried for a while and gave up - no fun...

  How do you install it?

  To install, place the file the new test JV.bsp" into "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\"username"\portal\portal\maps". Then start the game, enable the console, and type "map the_new_test_JV" in and press Enter.
