Description:
The World of Crysis is an map being made by 9of9. The map is made to show the power of The CryEngine 2, and it sure does that. The map looks really beautyfull and is definitely a must-have if you have an hig-end system. Of course you could also run it on an older system like 9of9 did:
If you are interested, my specs include 1Gig of RAM and an ATI Radeon X1800 GTS - most of the above shots were running at 6-8 fps ^^ But... it's well worth it.
Installation guide:
- Go to your Crysis game folder -> Electronic Arts -> Crytek -> Crysis -> Game -> Levels.
- Eventually backup existing levels with the same name.
- Copy the level folder from the downloaded file into the current game folder (Game/Levels).
- Start Crysis
- Open console and type in "con_restricted 0" (without "") to allow access to console commands
- Load your custom map by typing in "map mapname" (Without "") and press Enter.

same here, map doesn't work, starts under water, i swim to the nearby island and all the textures are missing. nice work

I also got serious texture error. It seems only one person here was able to run the game. Perhaps the mapper or n88tr can explain exactly how to load and play without errors. Also, I don't know how this could have 3 stars if so many can't play it.

Hey!
Where do I put the "Libs" folder? in the "game" folder?
Then, when I launch the map, I begin in the top-left corner of the map, into water, and there isnt any skin... In my console, (²) I read a pb with grass texture...
I really would like to see your job 9of9, plz help us ^^

well maybe they aren't morons, but something is seriously messed up. why start in the water? under water even! and when i load the map there's no water texture or nothing. just a weird light everywhere. i can't even see the land. and there's some big white line behind me. and i have i high end pc. you should seriously recheck your work man.

I load the map in the game (full version) and it starts me in the middle of the water without any land insight and some video artifacting. When I load the map in Sandbox2 it says it can't find the grass texture and all the ground is mostly just white.

I loaded the map with the full game and i think i did something wrong. The map is f#¤#ed up. There must be something missing. Can you help me?

You actually need the whole game to play this map. Information was wrong in the description (I changed it) the map doesn't work with only the demo :)

How am i suppose to load the level? With the Crysis sp demo launch icon or sandbox or what? Am i suppose to replace anything in the game folder. Can i actually play the map? Thanks for the uppload anyway.

When I load the map I start off in the far corner in the water, far away from the island... also, the NK attack each other instantly when the map is loaded in the editor. Does this map require files from the demo ISLAND map? I'm loading it directly from the rainzip folder with a third party launcher, maybe thats the prob.?
