I have always liked the heretic II texture set and decided that the Q3 textures are boring at the moment. Unfortunately the H2 textures are based on the Quake 2 engine which means the close-up quality is missing. So I enlarged the textures and passed them through several stages of bluring, sharpening, softening and finally more sharpening. They look ok when you are moving around the level but if you stop and stare at the walls they look a bit blured :(
Its a bit hard to add detail to textures when you have very little artist talent.
The level is based around a theme of a Wizard's sanctuary. The 3 area's are linked very tightly so I would be surprised if you got lost in this level.
All of the weapons are teamed eg. RL-RG, SG-LG plus some of the ammo and armour, so it should add a little variety to finding items.
